Dr. Pierre Constant grew up in Quebec, and came to know the Lord while studying in Cégep. He has served the local church in varying capacities ever since, and is still an elder at l'Église chrétienne du Plateau in Gatineau. Pierre is married to Lise; they live in Gatineau, Québec with their four children.
Dr. Constant's academic and professional résumé is impressive, to say the least. After obtaining his B.A. from the University of Ottawa, he received his M.A. and Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he studied under Dr. D.A. Carson. He is now the professor of New Testament and Greek at the Toronto Baptist Seminary.
Dr. Constant will be sharing with the pastors how to move from an examination of the Greek text to a sermon outline, ensuring that the main point remains the main point! More than merely an academic excercise, it will be demonstrated how faithfully studying the text will have amazing impact on the pastor's preaching and teaching ministry. Time will also be devoted to discussion for those pastors who do not know Greek.
