Pastor, Remember the Spiritual Disciplines: Past Practice, Present Imperative

Dr Michel A.G. Haykin, is Professor of Church History and Biblical Spirituality at the Southern Baptist Seminary, as well as Director of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies. Dr. Haykin has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto (1974), a Master of Religion from Wycliffe College, the University of Toronto (1977), and a Th.D. in Church History from Wycliffe College and the University of Toronto (1982).
Dr Haykin presented on the importance of the corporate practice of spiritual disciplines within church life. In particular, lessons were drawn out from the lives and emphases of the 17th and 18th century baptists.
