One of the reasons I love the
Toronto Pastors Fellowship is the quality of presentations that take place
month-by-month. Dr. Michael Haykin gave us an insightful and deeply
challenging
message
on the spiritual disciplines last month. Have you noticed any change in
your prayer life or use of the Lord's Supper? I have talked with several
men who were very impacted both by the paper and our discussion to follow.
This month I am thrilled we get
to sit under the teaching of
Stephen
Kring. Stephen is the long-serving pastor at Bethesda Baptist Church
in Delhi, Ontario. He has faithfully ministered to that flock and blessed them
with engaging preaching, purposeful prayer and evangelistic zeal. Not only
that, he is a regular contributor to TPF with papers that are exegetically rich
and profoundly practical. I have already read his paper for next Monday
on how to help our sheep find "the will of God" and I can guarantee
that most of you will be downloading copies of this for your folks back
home. Stephen has a way of saying deep things in such a simple manner
that it makes guys like me feel smart. I like that!
As usual, we will have coffee
waiting for you and some warm fellowship. Have you invited any other
pastors to join you this month?
Also, don't forget that our
December 8 meeting comes up quick. It is a great meeting to bring your
wife with you; especially if you want to grow in humility!
Pastor
Tim Kerr from Sovereign Grace Church, Toronto will be presenting
"Pastor, Love Your Wife!" After our December meeting, we want
to invite you to join us for lunch with your wife at a local restaurant.
We are not paying for that, but we would love to have you join us!
So, see you Monday, Nov 17 for
"Pastor, Give Guidance in Finding God's Will."
