New Year... Changing Times
DSCF1006.JPG
The year 2009 was a year when the Lord blessed both our annual conference in June and our monthly meetings as well. That gives us great hope and expectation of even greater things to come in 2010! Our first meeting of 2010 is this coming Monday, January 11.

One of the realities of ministering in the 'information age' is that aberrant doctrinal trends seem to come and go faster than ever--but the faithful pastor, seeking to fulfill 2 Tim. 4.3-4 will want to be aware of the times and the wrong theological inclinations of both his people and the generation at large. How can a pastor keep up with all that is changing? How can we tell the difference between bad theology that is a passing trend and that which is here to stay? What are the theological problems that will face the church in the years to come?

Kirk Wellum, Principal of the Toronto Baptist Seminary will take on these issues at this month's meeting of the Toronto Pastors Fellowship on January 11--and we would love to have you join us!

As usual, we'll meet at Richview Baptist Church at 10am for a presentation from the speaker, a time of fellowship, questions & answers, and a time of prayer. I'm really looking forward to it!

God willing, I'll see you there!
